TPS2373: 802.3at/ab OCP specification

Hi team,

My customer has question about POE OCP specification.

Could you help to check what's situation will trigger the PD/PSE OCP such as:

1. inrush current rating during power on or after power on?

2.Or what is maximum loading current value within duration(? ms)

3. is there any other situation will trigger OCP

Please advise PSE and PD portion specification if they are different.

Please see the image below from the datasheet:

Speaking for the PD, usually OCP events are triggered by the load, so it will heavily be dependent on the DC-DC design.

To help keep it separated, can you create a new E2E post on which specific PSE device you want more OCP information on? That will notify our PSE engineers. Thanks!
