Part Number: TPS54240

We used 3pcs TPS54240 for 20Vdc&12Vdc&5Vdc output, the same power input (28~40Vdc), schematics and layout.

The output waveform 20Vdc &12Vdc is nonlinear while power on/off , but 5Vdc is ok.

Any solution to improve the power on/off waveform for 20Vdc&12Vdc?

Hi Daniel

Considering our application(input voltage about 41), the input voltage has the risk to exceed 42V, so we reselect 54160DGQ for our application. could you help double confirm 54160DGQ & 54240DGQ footprint if pin to pin compatible or not? thanks a lot~

it is P2P, pls take care the gm of erro amplifier is different, need to adjust the compensation value .

If has the peripheral component selection tool for the quick selection & simulate? such as Compensation, Output inductor, input /out cap etc. So far, only some equation in the datasheet for the selection reference.

By the way, what is the difference for 54160DGQ&54160ADGQ?
