1) Configuring the device for standalone application means that device peripheral circuit should be modified?

2) We do not require LED functionality. Our battery pack is enabled with BMS (overvoltage, under voltage protections etc.). & individual cell voltage information is not available to us. So cell balancing may not be possible. So, is it mandatory to use bq77908 or bq77910 along with BQ34Z100-G1. Please advice

3) Do you have any reference design for BQ34Z100-G1 standalone application?

Please see the block diagram of my system. whether my understanding of fuel guage IC is correct? Also, in the current sensing section, I am getting two grounds, which is not possible in my system. So can I add sensing resistor in the line or any other better solutions are available with you?

Could you clarify what you mean by standalone? It appears you will have SCL and SDA communication with the gauge.

2)

If your pack already has protections they are not necessary. 

For the block diagram:

To measure the current flow in and out of the battery you need to have the power path through the sense resistor. So your PACK+ and PACK- will be the positive and negative of your system.

I am using the IC BQ34Z100-G1 alone in my system. ie only sda & scl are using. Below is my schematics. Could you please provide your comments? Your advice will be really helpful for me.
