Hi team,
Could you kindly share the mechanism of thermal shutdown ?
Our customer understand that thermal shutdown is triggered around Tj = 160C but they would like to know the mechanism how to detect it.
Thank you and best regards,
Michiaki

Hi Michiaki,
It's detected by internal circuit. You can use the relationship of BJT's (Bipolar Junction Transistor) vbe voltage and Tj.
Hi Michiaki,
Sorry, it's already beyond the scope of application. I don't know the details about how to design the over temperature protection block in silicon level. And this information shouldn't be disclosed to customer.
