Hi all,
it's the first time I use this chip and I don't understand some functionality of some pins.
I follow the connection scheme of the datasheet at figure 40 but something is not working.
The only difference is that i don't need to use the USB: I have an external power supply at 12V and, at the input of my device, I use a DC/DC converter to obtain the 5V level.
Then I just want to use that 5V level as the Vbus at the input of the BQ25601 and:
- when the 12V power supply is ON, the BQ25601 must charge the battery (at the same time i need to use the 5V to supply the whole device);
- when the 12V power supply is OFF, the BQ25601 must give the 5V at the output of the chip in order to supply the whole device.
Actually, when I turn on the 12V power supply, my DC DC Converter at the input stage gives the 5V level and I measured this signal at the VBUS/VAC pins of the BQ25601.
It seems that th BQ25601 didn't work: no output at the SYS pin and the battery is not charging, even I put the /CE pin to the GND.
I tryied to put also the PSEL to the GND but the output of the BQ25601 is still to 0V.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
