UCC28951-Q1: Difference between 28951 and 28950

Part Number: UCC28951-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28951

Hi team,

Would you show me the difference between 28951 and 28950?
I took a look at http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua853/slua853.pdf?ts=1591574548182, but I am not clear for that.

Which kind of functions are different between them and where is it explained in each datasheet?

Regards,
Ochi

  • Hello Yoshiki-san

The only difference between the two devices is that the UCC28951 works better when operating in current limit at Dmax. There are no differences in the data sheet. My advice is that if you are looking for a good PSFB controller then simply choose the UCC28951.

Please feel free to ask any further questions you may have about this device or how to best use it.

    Regards

    Colin
