    Thanks for reaching out on E2E!

    Diagnostic functions are enabled when DIAG_EN is high.

    If DIAG_EN is low and EN is high, the device is still protected, however CS is not providing feedback.

    Table 1 and 2 of the datasheet shown below illustrate this:
