Ping,
What application do you have? What switching frequency does the transformer operate? I cannot find a motor driver device to replace Max13256.
1. The motor driver device's driving signal comes from a host controller to fit for all motor speed and winding current requirement. Max13256 driving signal can come from itself.
2. Also, Max13256 internal circuitry guarantees a fixed 50% duty cycle to prevent DC current flow through the transformer, regardless of which clock source is used. A motor driver application doesn't have this situation and doesn't need to deal with the DC current flow through the transformer. If you pick a motor driver device, you have to guarantees a fixed 50% duty cycle at output.
Hello Ping,
Thanks for reaching out.
You may consider UCC27524 for your isolated power supply to drive the transformer while keeping in mind the need for additional components (controller) to implement the oscillator, fault monitoring (comparator), and the overcurrent adjustment threshold input(sense resistor).
