TPS7H1101A-SP: Unconnected pin 12 (GND pin) of TPS7H1101A-SP die version

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to confirm if the pin 12 of TPS7H1101A-SP die version must be connected to GND?

The customer is having some loading issues on the part. Basically, when they run GTX on the output line, the 1.0V drops. They suspect this disconnected pad is the culprit. Must it be connected to GND? Or will it function properly left unconnected?

Jonathan,

I will research this. It may take as few days as it may require a designer to open up the database to verify.

Jonathan,

I was able to get some time with the designer to research this.

Bond pad 12 is a logical input, and it must be tied to ground for proper operation.
