Hi All,

I'm after an eFuse that has a low Quiescent current(Iq), the eFuse will be used in a battery-powered system, as a power output controller.
The ideal component:

Will have a Q current (when enabled) <=10uA
Will have over-current protection that is adjustable or set at ~1A
Will have an enable pin
Will work in the range of a 1S LiPo (2.9V -> 4.2V)

Hi Nick,

How critical is the Quiescent current requirement ?

TPS2595 meets all your requirements except for the Iq spec. The Max Quiescent current when the device is enabled is 250uA.

Hi Praveen,

At 250uA it would be the highest power device on the PCB, is there anything better?

Hi Nick,

We have load switches which have very low quiescent current but these devices do not have current limit functionality. You can find the list of devices here,

In case current limit function is required, TPS2595 is the closest solution that we have for your requirement right now.
