Dear Sir,

While I'm testing TPS61023 to check the current rating the IC got internal damage between the SW and GND pin. It shows Short-circuit. After replacing Ic again I checked again the same problem occur after some time. I used the circuit which is recommended in the datasheet. I also used the same resistor, capacitor and inductor values?. please help to fix this problem

Dear Sir,

we exactly follow this circuit only . we didn't do any PCB for this boost converter. We used separate PCB and take jumper from the IC for testing.

Hi Mani,

For dc/dc high switching frequency converters, the layout is really important. The general PCB will cause system unstable and IC damage. Please buy a EVM or build a prototype PCB for testing.
