Hello,

Following this topic I think I have understood how the two regsiter "Cycle Count" evolves.

However, after a discharge the Qmax register has been updated (juste after OCVTAKEN at '1') but the "Cycle Count" of "Gas Gauging" has not been updated.

Here, differents log.

Another point, can you tell me why Learning Status stayed at 5?

Hello Charles,

Your gauge is most likely not getting a valid cycle (probably on the final discharge since your update status of 0x05 shows the gauge updated Qmax.)

Make sure to follow the steps closely on the TRM Appendix D: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluubw5/sluubw5.pdf?ts=1591731971048&ref_url=https://www.ti.com/product/BQ34Z100-G1

Make sure the VOK bit is correct before moving to the next step.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I read your document and the weak point of my setup was the discharge current. It was better to discharge at C/5 than C/8.

But if the condition is indeed the change of VOK (1 to 0), we will see to modify our cycling bench.
