Hi Team,

Just a few question about LM3644 LED driver,

1. Can we drive 1.5A from each LED channel (1.5A + 1.5A, total of 3A) ? 

2. If we are not using TX, STROBE & Torch pins, can we left it floating?

    Hi Kora,

        1. Yes, if you provide enough supply voltage which makes device works underpass mode and environment temp is not very high.

       2. Yes.

    Thanks for the details !!

    One more doubt, how to determine power dissipation of LM3644 IC?

    We are using 5V as input, driving 1.2A current from each LED channel (so totally 2.4A ) and LED forward voltage is 3.25V.

    For thermal analysis, we need this power dissipation value.

    Hi Kora，

        I'm sorry that It is difficult to calculate the power loss, the most accurate way is to test with the detail application spec, you can request the LM3644EVM from TI.com.
