DCP010505B: UL1950 Testing

Part Number: DCP010505B

I noticed on the REV H datasheet, that there is no reference to the UL1950 Testing conducted on the part.  It only mentions the 1KVrms for 1-second flash test and the maximum continuous working voltage across the isolation barrier being 60VDC or 42.5VAC.  Older versions of the datasheet mentioned the UL1950 Testing - what did that consist of?

  • Hi Dan,

I've contact one of my colleague apps engineer who might have more information on this part. Please expect to hear from sometime tomorrow.

  • Hi Dan,

The UL1950 Testing specification under Electrical Characteristics table was removed due to many customers misunderstanding the condition. The device remains as a UL1950 recognized component.
The DCP01 Series is good for 1 kVrms for 60s for UL1950 recognition tests only (as stated in older versions) and that still applies till this day. The new Rev datasheet clarifies that the DC voltage across the barrier has a limitation.

    Regards,
