I am doing a application with very high input voltage, so the price of the depletion MOSFET it is critical for the design... I was wondering if the depletion mosfet can be substituted by a resistor and a zener diode, like shown in the following picture, limiting the current and voltage (to 11V) to the pin:
If you think that it is not possible, would you have another possible solution to this?
