TPS61120: Output current Vs Output voltage

We are planning to use TPS6112x in our design,

We need Vout 3.9V from Boost output with an Input Voltage Vin 2.5V,what will be the exact output current for this characteristics?

the datasheet provided only with an approximate graph(o/p current vs i/p voltage), with that it's difficult for us to come to an conclusion!

kindly suggest an answer or way to find it.

Hi Aravind,

i would expect 400mA level maximum output current. but i would suggest TPS61023 for your application.

Hi Jasper Li,

Thanks for the suggestion,

But we need two regulated output (3.9V & 1.8V),since our i/p is 2.5v we are looking for IC with BOOST/BUCK-BOOST with an additional LDO.

Can You explain us how you came up with 400mA!

Hi Aravind,

the maximum output current is VIN*IIN*Eff/VOUT. the maximum IIN is limited by the current limit. and assume the efficency at 80%.
