TPS6594-Q1: 659411 and 659413 have no output

Part Number: TPS6594-Q1

Hi Team,

My customer now use 659411 and 659413 in their J7 project.

It is their first time to use 659411 and 659413. Customer said the input 3.3V is normal but has no output in 659411 and 659413

May I ask whether we have Reference Routine/Code for customer to use in their system directly?

Thanks!

  • Hi,

I have forwarded your request to Applications Engineer supporting this device.. She is in US time zone and she will provide you the feedback by today or latest tomorrow.

  • Amelie,

Have you seen our user's guide for this solution yet: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slvubr0/ This may help the customer understand how this solution works. Also, I would recommend checking out the schematics and user's guide for the J7ES EVM to make sure all the signals are connected correctly.

To turn on the system, you will need 3.3V on the VCCA pins to power the PMICs. You will also need the ENABLE pin to be high to initiate the power up sequence. Can you confirm that both of these pins are high?

There is no software needed to turn on the system. However, if you do not have watchdog software available yet, I recommend making sure that the DISABLE_WDOG pin on the TPS659413-Q1 device is pulled high, to keep the system from resetting.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Nastasha

  • TPS659411 and TPS659413’s Vin are both 3.3V  and the ENABLE PIN (PIN20) are 2.24V/2.69V.

Both of these pins are high...
