BQ76952: I2C comunication start-up conditions

Hello,TI Experts, I made a sample pcb and i would like to start I2C comunication with BQ76952.

Is there any other pin connection needed(or condition)than BAT/VSS, SDA/SCL(with pull up Resistor to 5v) for starting I2C comunication?

Hi Decean,

I think that should work. On the EVM, we also have a resistor divider to to apply voltage to all of the cell inputs, but this should not be required to talk to the part. You may also need to Wake the device from Shutdown by pulling TS2 low or by applying a voltage to the LD pin. (see the description of Shutdown mode in the datasheet).
