Hello, I want to use LM61460 and want fast transient performance.
I have 2 questions about Output voltage and transient response.
1.
In the datasheet there are some recommended output cap values, but in my system output voltage is about 19V. (Input Voltage is 24V)
If there are no limits for board size and bom cost,
the more output capacitors I put in, do I get the better the transient response?
2*47uF is better than 1* 47uF?
Then 4*47uF is better than 2* 47uF? like this?
2. CFF is used for transient response.
But in the datasheet If output voltage is greater than 14V, Cff must not be used because this introduces too much gain at higher freq.
Refer to the datasheet, for me output voltage is 19V so I shouldn't use Cff.
What is the effect of too much gain at high freq? What will effect If I use 19V output with Cff cap?
What I want to final goal is Using LM61460 - 19V output with fastest transient response that this device can get.
LM61460 is the only device that meets other conditions in my system. (Input/Output V, Current. etc)
Please, I am learning much from this E2E and beginner in power design. Thanks for the any reply.
If there are any other way to improve response, please also reply to me.
