Hi Sir,

My customer would like design TPS55340. Here are the conditions.

Vin=17V ~21V typ19V

Vout=36V

Load I-out (max)= 0.5A.

Load I-out (min)= 0.06A

One more question, customer design target voltage output is 36V, any concern of TPS55430?

Would you please review and provide your comment?

Hi SHH,

It should be ok for 36V Vout. Please add the placeholder for snubber to suppress the spike/ringing.

Hi SHH,

Thanks for the information you provide in email.

I have reviewed the schematic.

The saturation current of the inductor seems a little risky to me. The peak current is 1.35A and usually, we give +20% margin for transient and tolerance, which is ~1.6A peak.

It looks good other than this.
