UCC256404: Tell about LLC

LLC converters can easily handle a 2 to 1 change in the input and output.  However, wider than that is generally an issue.  These devices are generally used in high power applications where the input voltage is fixed.

If your power level is below 75W generally you don't need a PFC.  If this is the case you should consider using and active clamp flyback.  The following two links will get you to the data sheet for the UCC28780 and a 45W offline evaluation module with less than 50 mW of standby power.  Also this design does not use a PFC and has ZVS.
