TPS40057: Vfb Temperature Characteristics at higher than 85degC

Hello Team,

My customer wants to know the Vfb temperature characteristics at higher than 85degC.

Based on the data sheet 5page, Vfb value appears to increase at lower temp.
If the temperature exceeds 85degC at high temperature, Does the value of Vfb become worse like a quadratic function? Or will it worsen proportionally (V/degC) ?

Any advice will be appreciated.

from the datasheet , i agree with our customer opinion , it will go lower. And this device was developed long time ago, pls give some time check internally to see whether we have high temp data in developing.

Hi Jin:

yes, we check internally, the lowest fb voltage is at Tj=85deg C, so customer can take the 0.693V - 0.715V as -40eg C to 125 deg C Tj.

Is Tj typo ?

Do you mean that -0.693V - 0.715V could be worst case value even if Ta exceeds 85degC (to 125degC) ?

Hi Jin:

Yes, customer can take it as full temperature range (-40deg C-125deg C) accuracy.
