BQ25895: battery monitor current

Hi Support Team

My customer is asking what our battery monitor current draw is. IN the Iq section, all we mention is what the current is with battery monitor disables. How much does the battery monitor draw? Also, if I am in continuous conversion mode, what would the current profile look like? ie, draws xyuA for abmsec, then cduA for the remainder for the cycle.

    Jeff,

    Based on bench testing, the IQ drawn due to battery monitor could go to ~80mA, but only with a pulse duration of ~4.4ms for 1 second continuous conversion mode. For the rest of cycle, IQ is similar to the value when battery monitor disables. Please note that this is only from a narrow experimental set of testing, so your measurements could be different.
