My customer is considering LM4041C-N and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

How should the FB pin be connected when using the LM4040-N with 1.2V output?

Is it possible to use floating?

If the resistor is needed between FB and (+)pin, how is the resistance?

Hi Shinichi,

The FB pin on the LM4041-N-ADJ should be connected to the Anode for a 1.2V output.

We also have a fixed 1.2V LM4041-N option that does not have a FB pin. This should be the LM4041-N-1.2

Thank you for your reply.

As you mention, LM4041-N-1.2 is a better choice, but the customer has aleady LM4041-N in stock.

So they need to use LM4041-N-ADJ.

Could you please let us know following questions.

Regarding the connection between FBpin and the Anode.

(1)Could it possible to connect directly, or via resistor

(2)If the resistor is needed, what ohm is suitable.

Hi Shinichi,

1. A direct connection is possible. There should be no need for a resistor.
