Does TPS25982 support reverse polarity protection? If so, up to what reverse voltage level?

    Thank you for the reply,

    Max Vin: 14V

    Absolute max load current: 8A

    Total output capacitance: ~150uF

    Protection features: Reverse polarity protection; UVLO; OVP (15-17V cut-off); soft start (Inrush limiting); OCP; optionally also current monitor

    Must have -40 to +85 degC operating temp. range option

    Hi Harsha,

    Thanks for sharing the information.

    Right now we do not have any integrated device which can meet all your requirements. The closest we have is TPS25942x and TPS25944x which can be used for reverse polarity protection as shown below.

    TPS25942x can support upto 4.78A load current. Can you split your rail into two and use 2x TPS25942x ?
