BQ40Z50: The problem with choosing CHEM _ID

Hello,
We use bq40z50 and LiTiO batteries. With the help of GPC, we tried to select chem _id from the list, but we did not succeed. Could you help us solve this problem? I am enclosing the zip file and the response received.LiTiO.zip

In the instruction manual below, it is required that the battery cells relax and then be charged to full.

I don't see a charge cycle in your log file. I would suggest you follow the manual to prepare the ivt log file.

Hi Andy,

We reloaded the file, and the GPC offered us a chemistry of 705 with a deviation of 16%. This quantity seems to us large, how can it be reduced? The CUV threshold is 1.2 volts, as written in the element datasheet.
Is it possible to create a new Chem _ID if we provide you with the necessary log files at different temperatures?3122.LiTiO.zip

Can you tell me the charging voltage and terminate voltage you see in the battery spec? I will review your log files with that info.

If a custom chemistry id is needed, a few battery samples need to be shipped to TI for characterization. Normally, a TI FAE has to work with customers to arrange the shipment.

We contacted the manufacturer of the cells and they gave permission to provide datasheets and battery samples. Please tell me how and where to send them to us?

You would need to contact a local TI FAE that supports you. He/she can then contact us to arrange the shipment.

Unfortunately, I don't have the contact window you are looking for.

I would suggest you have the manufacturer find a local TI sales or FAE in Shanghai.
