TL7705A: Which one has a narrower range of VIT- from -40℃ to 125℃?

Part Number: TL7705A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL7705B, , TPS3703-Q1, TPS3840

Hello,

Please tell me which of the TL7705B and TL7705A has a narrow range of VIT- from -40℃ to 125℃?

In data sheet of TL7705B, VIT- is 4.45V to 4.65V in "TA = full range" (I select Q suffix device -40℃ to 125℃).

In data sheet of TL7705A, VIT- is 4.5V to 4.6V only in "TA = 25°C".

I would like to select the one has a narrower VIT- range.

If TL7705A has a narrower VIT- range, please give me data like an application curve of VIT- vs temperature.

Best Regards,

Okuyama

  • Hi Okuyama-san,

The TL7705B in this case has a narrower VIT- range since it is characterized over the full temperature range. These are quite old devices however, so we do not have full characterization etc for both devices. Do you need all the pin capabilities that these devices have? We have newer devices that office a lot more advantages including Iq and accuracy such as the TPS3840/TPS3703-Q1.

    Thanks,
    Abhinav.
