TPS65916: LDO VRTC_OUT issue

Hello,

This is Milav Soni From Teq Diligent.

I have used TPS659162RGZR PMIC in one of my custom Embedded Board.

I used 5v Power Supply to power on the PMIC.

But when i power on the PMIC I found 2.0 Voltage at LDOVRTC_OUT pin instead of 1.8 V.

We connect capacitor (2.2uf) with ground at LDOVRTC_OUT pin.

Please help me to sort out this problem.

    Milav,

    Is there anything else connected to LDOVRTC_OUT besides the 2.2uF cap? This is an internally regulated LDO, so if it is not regulating at the correct voltage, it could be damaged.

    Hello, here is my inputs:

    1- Make sure the 2.2uF is connected to VRTC and GND

    2- Do you have VRTC connected to external circuit? I wanted to make sure if there is path to other voltages and an injected current through the path

    3- Did you try another part?

    I also assigned this thread to the appropriate apps who has more expertise in this part.
