TPS703: distribution of Reset duration time

Hi Team,

My customer wants to know distribution of Reset duration time since they need to secure 100ms duration for the reset.

Can you disclose distribution data of Reset duration time? And could you tell me how many sigma is considered for Min(80ms) and Max(120ms)?

    Hi Onawa-san,

    The TPS703 is very old and I can not find any characterization/distribution data with respect to the reset delay time. When we show a minimum and maximum on the datasheet, we put in guardband limits such that over temperature and time, the device will be within the minimum and maximum limits. These guard bands are based on 3 sigma. 

    I am curious why your customer is considering this older device? While not exactly functionally equivalent the TPS7A92 is a dual 2A device that does not require high ESR capacitors (i.e. tantalum capacitors) for stability.
