Hello~

We have used BQ40Z80, and are currently setting parameters, and have encountered the following problems:

1.TRM page.182, 19.2.5.1 Enabled PF A
QIM (Bit 7): QMax imbalance
1 = Enabled
0 = Disabled (default)
"1" means permanent fault check ? or "0" means permanent fault check

2.Settings->Protection->Enabled Protections B
Bit0 inside, different from TRM (see screenshot)

3.Settings->Configuration->DA Configuration
Bit1/Bit0 inside, different from TRM (see screenshot)

Hi Adam,

The Enabled PF A[QIM] bit is 0 by default. You need to set it to 1 to enable it.

Also, I don't see any data in the Value column. Make sure you have a good BQ40z80 EVM connected and click the Read All button to load the Configurations

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your quick reply.

In the settings of bqStudio: Settings->Protection->Enabled Protections B -> [LSB][Bit0] is "RSVD_1",

but what is mentioned in TRM is [LSB][Bit0] is "ASCC" (see screenshot).

Has TRM been updated?

It seems like a mismatch between bqStudio and TRM. It might be a typo in the bqStudio. Let me check with our firmware team and get back to you later.
