Hi,

For 2S, if max battery regulation voltage is 8.4V, then 9V input voltage is enough headroom to charge, so that charger does not enter SLEEP. Again the voltage sensed on VCC of charger IC is what matters (after input voltage drop).

Will there be no output from vref when entering sleep?
When does vref have no output voltage?

Hi Gareth,

In SLEEP mode converter is disabled and it enters low quiescent current mode. VREF is disabled in SLEEP and there will be no 3.3V output..
