Hello,

my customer just reached out because they are using the TPS61170 in a project. For power stability simulation they need its Average SPICE model that can work in SIMETRIX/SIMPLIS.

The available SPICE model on ti.com is a transient model that can't be used to perform AC analysis.

Could you please provide me with a SPICE model of TPS61170 that can be used to perform BODE plot simulation?

Hi Stani,

TPS61170 has a very good stability performance with fit parameter. So please share the schematic , Vin, Vout/Iout with us, so that we can have a review.

Hi Helen,

do we have the simulation model the customer is requesting for (model to perform AC analysis & BODE plot simulation)?

Out of experience the engineer working at this particular development site don't agree to share schematic so i would appreciate your feedback on the model before going ahead to request a schematic.

Hi Stani,

Please change R4 to 1k to check whether the circuit could get stable.

If still has stability problem. Please share the pcb layout with us, I want to check how the output caps, how the compensation network connects.
