Hi,
Based on the BQ40Z50-R2 datasheet, this support JEITA charging algorithms. I am a bit confused, what is the different between the JEITA in battery fuel gauges and JEITA in battery charger (e.g.. BQ25790)?
1. Are them same JEITA charging profile or there is some different between those two?
2. If my smart battery is integrated with BZ40Z50-R2, can I pick BQ24800 or BQ24725A as my charger IC (so BQ40Z50-R2 can communicate with BQ24800 thru the SM bus). I wanted to confirm JEITA charging profile is working in this combination.
