I have an application using the TPS23753A. This particular design included the ability to power the circuit using an auxiliary adapter in "Option 1" mode - in this case an 18-24V auxiliary input.
I need to increase the UVLO voltage of the converter so that it locks out with an input less than ~15V.
I've considered two options to implement this, the first being a second MOSFET in series with the switching FET enabled by a voltage monitoring circuit. The second, and certainly simpler option is a 6V Zener in series with the TPS23753A VDD1 input.
Does TI have any suggestions for a modified UVLO Converter voltage with the TPS23753A, or could you provide any comments on the two solutions I'm proposing?
