We would like to implement BQ40Z80 but in our application but we don't need protection functions and therefore we would like to use it without CHG/DSG FETs. The main reason is that application requires transfer of about 150A continuous current - it would have required too large FETs array.
Would BQ40Z80 work okay without CHG/DSG FETs? I've attached the simplified schematics with direct connection of BAT to PACK+.
