LM5176: Similar Parts

Part Number: LM5176

Hello,

Is the LM5176 at all outdated? I know it is an active part but if it will be replaced soon or become un-active soon.

Also what are some other parts that have a very wide input range and can be configured to output at at values from 12-60?

Is there a better part to use for outputting a value of 60 with a wide input range?

  • Hi Alex,

Thank you for checking with us.  The LM5176 is active and it is very popular, and we don't have any plan to discontinue it.

Regarding your 60Vout requirement, what is your power level?  The LM5176's abs max rating is 60V, so we do not recommend to use if to produce 60V, otherwise there would be no margin.   Led us know your operating conditions, and we may propose a more appropriate solution.  Regarding our new development, please understand that we do not disclose such activities in e2e before the info become public, that basically means the release to market.  If you want to get more of our roadmap information, please contact a TI sales person in your region.

    Thanks,
