Good day.

We have a customer looking for the thermal resistance for UC2825ADWTR,specifically junction to case (theta j-c) and thermal resistance junction to board (theta j-a).

    Hi Art! 

    Thank you for your patience! I was able to dig into this and although I wasn't able to find thermal ratings related to the UC2825A, I was able to find thermal ratings for the UC2825. Please see the image below from the UC2825 datasheet. 

    The UC2825A is an improved version of the UC2825 and as such will have similar thermal ratings. I am still looking into this and searching to find the thermal ratings for the UC2825A but I hope that these numbers will at least help to get you started in the right direction. I will have an update for you tomorrow.

    Hi Art! 

    I have not been able to find further information here. However, I can say with increased certainty that the Thermal Ratings table posted above and reiterated below accurately represents the UC2825A device. For reference, the TL2844 and TL2844B (two parts with a similar relationship to each other as the UC2825 and UC2825A) have the exact same thermal resistances as well. 

    Is this information enough to proceed with your design?
