Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5122-Q1, PMP21112, LM5122
Hi,
I have a customer looking at doing a design with the LM25122-Q1 with the following specs and I have a couple questions:
Specs:
- Vin = 12V
- Vout = 24V
- Iout = 12.5A
Questions:
- Can this design be done reliably in a single-phase configuration or is a multi-phased configuration required due to the high output current/power?
- Is there a specific threshold (Current/Power) where you should switch to a multi-phased design?
- If multi-phased is recommended, are there any other ICs that might be better suited for a single-phase version of this design?
- What is the difference between the LM5122-Q1 and LM25122-Q1? It looks like it is just the Input/Output Voltages and switching frequencies.
Thanks
-Tyler
