Hello team,

I would like to confirm we have fit device for the customer requirements.

The requirement is that 24Vin(30Vabs) / 30mA per ch / 8 string / Fault pin.

TPS61194 is best for the requirement aside from the string...

Do we have 8 string device similar to TPS61194?

TPS61195 looks fine as well but this device doesn't have fault pin.

Hi Kazuki,

How about TPS61185 that features 8 channels, 24V input and fault pin, 25mA per channel?

25mA may work. Thank you for your recommendation.

Is there any other device on the Road map or portfolio just in case 25mA is not suite for the customer?

Hi Kazuki-san,

Pls. refer to TPS92638-Q1. This device can cover all customer's requirements, however, it's a little expensive.

BTW, does the customer apply I2C control in their application? If so, then TPS61195 will be the proper device.

Thank you for your recommendation.

I'm going to tell the customer about this socket, and I don't think I2C control is necessary.

One thing about TPS92638-Q1. The datasheet mentioned that 70mA per channel with one to three LEDs.

The number of LEDs must in this value or unless it's not over 70mA, is it okay to add more LEDs?

Hi Kazuki-san,

Since TPS92638-Q1 is a linear device, so the max. LEDs is dependent on the VIN.
