Team,
the minimum value for the pull-up resistor is stated to be 1 kOhm in chapter 7.3 and 10 kOhm in chapter 6.
Can you clarify the correct minimum value?
My customer wants to use 4.7 kOhm resistor.
Thanks

Hi Franziskus,
The minimum value should be as mentioned in the electrical characteristics table (1k), but we do not usually recommend operating near the minimum or maximum, so you should probably use at least 10k here. Either way, I believe 4.7kOhm will work fine, but 10k or 100k would be better.
Thanks,
Abhinav.
Hi Abhinav,
thanks for your prompt reply!
The typical application in the datasheet uses a 1 MOhm resistor, so it is set to the upper limit.
As I understand, you can confirm that the minimum value is 1kOhm, but we recommend a value between 10k and 100k.
However, the 4.7k that my customer chose should be fine and is within spec limits.
Can you confirm my understanding?
Thanks!
