I'm looking for a buck-regulator controller that can do 100% duty cycle. This means that when the input voltage drops too low, the high-side FET permanently turns on and becomes a passthrough. I also need to be able to synchronize with an external clock.
Some of the switching regulators with integrated FETs can do 100% duty, but none of them have a sufficiently low Rds(on) for my needs. If I could use a controller instead, then I could choose a suitable FET that meets my needs.
