bq34z100 and I need to configure a pba battery I have an ev2400 when modifying the calibration parameters the response lit is calibration does not recognize from the device the voltage source on the pin of the integrated region and ce is 3.3 volts.

how can I calibrate the battery voltage to 12 volts and change the settings for pba.

Hello Julian,

You will need to find the best ChemID for your battery then configure the gauge for your batteries specs.

Is bqStudio giving an error when you try to calibrate?

reviewing the chemical identifier of the lead battery select the number 0808 lead acid which presents the following error 1721 which steps should I follow for the correct programming of the chemical identifier.
and there is a document or video showing the steps to record a golden image and you can restore the device to the factory

Hello Julian,

Did bqStudio auto-detect your EVM when you connected it? If it didn't auto-detect I would recommend updating the firmware by downloading the firmware updater from the product page.

Once you have updated the firmware, try turning off the auto refresh (top left corner) by clicking it then try to program the chemistry ID.

hi could you tell me the steps for the firmware update i am directly developing the board for the bq34z100 g1 or should i download any golden image to start the development.

Hello Julian,

Do you mean you are using a custom PCB? You should be able to generate the golden image then use that to program other gauges with your calibration factors and other information.
