Hi, When Using Hotswap IC, How to calculate or decide Cout Value?

I cannot find anything about Cout in the datasheet. I am going to use TPS2492.

Are there any rule of thumb of calculate Cout value?

    Hi Hong,

    The Cout values is decided by the needs of the output load. For example, if the load is a DC-DC module, it is the input capacitance of that DC-DC module. The Hot-swap does not need much capacitance for its operation. A 1uF can be used to filter the noise on the output bus.
