Hi Team,

May I ask how could I calculate the overcurrent value?

Here the overcurrent means when output current is higher than overcurrent, TPS54260 will shut down.

The current limit in datasheet is 3.5A-6.1A. the range is too wide...

    Hi Amelie,

    This current limit is for high-side switch, Not the output current, the HS switch will be turn-off immediately once the current trig the limit. 

    For example, if load current is 2.5A, inductor current ripple is 40%, then the inductor current peak is 2.5+2.5*40%/2=3A, this is below the minimum current limit 3.5A.
