Hi Colleagues,

could you explain why the junction-to-ambient resistance is different between Webench and the datasheet?

Datasheet: 34.3 C/W

Webench: 15.25 C/W

Hi Simon,

The webench use the theta JA assuming a specific board size and most likely it is based on the EVM whereas the datasheet assumes the board is based on JEDEC standard type of board.
