    Hi,

    Referring to 8.3.3.1 Autonomous Charging Cycle, With battery charging enabled at POR, the bq24196 can complete a charging cycle without host involvement. Please check the default settings listed on Register Maps on the d/s and see if the default settings fit your application and batteries being used.
