Part Number: BQ40Z50-R3-DEVICE-FW
1. When connecting to the BQ40Z50-R3 device through the EV2400 from bqStudio, I do not see the "Learning Cycle" tab. If I disconnect the USB cable and run bqStudio and manually select the BQ40Z60 gauge, the "Learning Cycle" tab is there. I would like to use the automated learning cycle feature using the relay drive out of the EV2400. Why is it not present for the BQ40Z50-R3 gauge and can something be done to make it appear?
2. I have a 4 series, 7 parallel battery pack configuration using LG INR18650MJ1 cells (3.65V nom, 3500mAh). I believe the Chem ID for this battery is 2152 as LG seem to interchange INR and ICR in some documents. When I perform a Chem ID test and submit to TI, the recommended Chem ID is different. When submitting the data, the confix.txt file requires you to specify the number of serial cells but there is no requirement for the number of cells in parallel. Will cells in parallel affect the Chem ID result? If so, is there a way for this to be correctly accounted for in the gauge's configuration?
3. BqStudio doesn't show the "Golden Image" tab for this device. Is this a deliberate omission? What is the procedure for downloading a golden image to the BQ40Z50-R3 device?
