TPS2660: worst case analysis? LTspice includes temp response?

Part Number: TPS2660

Hi,

In the data sheet of TPS2660, the accuracy of the current limit vs. Current limit described in figure 24. Does this characteristic correspond to a worst case analysis, i.e. are batch variations taken into account?
If not, what does the batch scatter look like?

I wanted to do a simulation with LTspice at different ambient temperatures e.g. + 50 ° C. I received an error message.
Is a temperature response taken into account in the Spice model?

Thanks!

  • Hi Rui,

Thanks for reaching us on E2E.

Figure 24 shows the accuracy considering the process variation (i.e., batch variations), voltage and temperature. That means the data corresponds to the worst case.

However, the Pspice model takes typical values as per equation-3 and does not account the temperature or process variation.

    Best Regards, Rakesh
