LM5145: Quick high and low enable control

Hi sir,

Can we control LM5145RGYR enable pin for high with 5msec and low with 1sec, then cycling? Will LM5145RGYR broken?

Below is our application, when the loading current is 30mA,will power off LM5145 and power device by other source; if the load current is 200mA, power on LM5145, but the time duration is only 5msec. The frequently switch on/off LM5145 might has transient issue?

#Note: Vin of LM5145 is 12V/ 24V/ 48V; Vout is 5V

Hi Hedy,

EN pin is designed for chip ON/OFF control, so no issue in your application.

What's the SS time of LM5145 in your design? it should below 1ms as the power on time is only 5ms.

Thanks your quick reply.

The SS time is configured 4.5msec, I think you are right, we should configure 1ms for 5msec ON at least.
