How to recover from VLAN Failure

Hi, I got VLAN Failure flag in my bqWizard, when connected to the EVM. I don't know how to reset this flag. The board says the number of cells is zero, when there are 8. How can one recover from this failure?. I have tried rebooting pc, reinstalling firmware for bq78pl114, and also re-installing the USB Interface adapter and still the flag is there. I also installed everything in a different PC, and flag is still there. The communications seems to work in one direction only, from PC to board, but not board to PC, so I disabled the windows firewall, but problem persists. Please, any way to recover from this error?
